Mostly happy, minor issue

I used DocuSign eSignature for some important legal documents recently. The process was pretty straightforward, and setting up the templates was easier than I thought it would be. Everything worked as expected for signing and sending. My only small gripe was trying to find specific help in their FAQs; it took a bit longer than I hoped to locate the answer for an envelope limit question. Overall though, it's a solid service and made my life much simpler for managing agreements.

So easy to use!

I needed to get some contracts signed super fast, and DocuSign was a lifesaver. I used the Mobile App Signature feature right from my phone and it was incredibly smooth. Setting up my document and sending it out took only minutes. The recipients had no trouble signing either. I was so impressed with how quick and secure it all felt. Definitely going to use them again for all my document needs and already told my colleagues about it!

Good value for annual plan

I signed up for the DocuSign Personal plan last month. Decided on the annual billing option because it saved me a good chunk of money, almost 20% compared to paying monthly. The 30-day free trial really helped me decide it was worth it. Got my first few documents signed without any issues, felt like a good purchase.

Hey guys, thinking about getting DocuSign for my small business. Is it really worth it compared to just printing and scanning everything? Seems kinda pricey.

E Emma A. 2 months ago
Oh man, for a small business, it's a game changer. The time saved alone is worth it. Plus, you look way more professional.

I was on the fence too, but the audit trail alone makes it worthwhile. Super easy to prove stuff was signed and when.

how easy is it to cancel a subscription if I decide it's not for me? I don't want to get stuck in a contract.

N Nina 2 months ago
Pretty straightforward. I canceled once and it was just a few clicks in the account settings. No big fuss.

Yeah, you can cancel anytime. They don't make it super hidden or anything, which is nice.

Has anyone had trouble with promo codes not working? I found one online but it keeps saying 'invalid'.

P Priya 2 months ago
Promo codes are pretty rare for DocuSign outside of specific deals. Most of their 'discounts' are like the annual plan savings.

P Phil B. 1 month ago
Yeah, sometimes those random codes you find online are expired or for very specific plans. Best bet is their free trial for new users.

Is the 30-day free trial really full-featured or do they lock a bunch of stuff behind a paywall during the trial?

M Mark D. 2 months ago
Nah, the trial is pretty good, gives you a solid feel for it. You can do most things you'd need.

From my experience, the trial is basically the real deal for that month. Enough to figure out if it fits your workflow.

I'm a real estate agent, is there a special version or discount for us? I saw something about a real estate edition but can't find clear pricing.

R Renee 1 month ago
Yeah, they definitely have something for realtors, often bundled with forms. Look for the 'Real Estate Edition' or 'Dotloop' integration, it's pretty common.

My broker hooked us up with a special plan, so I think there are specific discounts for agents. Ask around your office!

Anyone know if DocuSign actually offers a student discount? Trying to use it for some club stuff but money's tight.

C Cleo Foster 2 months ago
I heard they do for some educational institutions, but you probably have to go through your school's IT department or something to get the details.

They used to, not sure if it's still a thing directly through their site. Might be worth asking support.

Thinking about getting the annual plan to save some cash, but what if I don't use all my 'envelopes'? Do they roll over?

N Nina Doyle 1 month ago
Pretty sure envelopes don't roll over. You get a set amount per year, and if you don't use 'em, they're gone.

A Alex Vargas 1 month ago
Nah, no rollover for envelopes. It's usually a monthly or annual allotment that resets. So plan accordingly!

Which is better for a small business, DocuSign or Adobe Sign? I'm just starting out and need something reliable but not overkill.

J June F. 2 months ago
I've used both, and for ease of use, I lean towards DocuSign for general stuff. Adobe Sign can be a bit more complex sometimes.

D Dana Osei 2 months ago
Honestly, they're both solid. DocuSign feels a bit more intuitive for basic e-signatures, especially for clients who aren't tech-savvy.
